What is a Tiered Huddle Board
We start our study by defining the tool we will be further analyzing. Tiered huddle board meetings are a quick 15-minute update typically scheduled in the mornings between 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM, depending upon when the business opens or starts the workday. The goal of these meetings is to have a brief touch base before starting the days’ work. They are designed to prioritize, escalate needs or risks, and set goals for the week. Each huddle is divided into different “tiers” that facilitate a place of proper escalation and align like-goals. Tier one is typically associates or employees who perform the tasks in the work field. Tier two would then move up to the supervisory level of the company. In tier three, you will see the managers of the individual departments of the company.
